FOODTOPIA
A restaurant's own ordering app, without the platform fees.

BACKGROUND & CONTEXT
Phone orders are slow, customers can't track delivery or keep loyalty benefits, and the restaurant pays high third-party fees while losing the customer relationship.
TARGET USERS
Regular customers of a single restaurant, and the restaurant owner
THE GOAL
Give one restaurant a direct ordering channel it owns.
MY PROCESS
- Problem framing
- flows
- wireframes
- UI
- prototype
KEY DECISIONS
- One-tap reorder for repeat customers
- Loyalty built into the order flow, not a separate tab
- Delivery tracking shown without leaving the app
THE SOLUTION
A branded ordering app with menu browsing, item customisation, quick reordering, payment, real-time delivery tracking and loyalty rewards.
KEY FEATURES
- Menu browsing & customisation
- One-tap reorder
- In-app payment
- Live order tracking
- Loyalty rewards
DESIGN SYSTEM & ACCESSIBILITY
One menu-item component powers browsing, customisation and reorder. Order status uses a labelled step tracker rather than colour-coded dots, so progress reads at a glance.
OUTCOME
A concept showing how a single venue can own its ordering channel end to end.
BY THE NUMBERS
~25 screens covering the full order-to-delivery loop in 1 week
What I learned
The business case shaped this design more than the customer flow did.
